This class offers a restorative space to release and restore, all while strengthening and preparing your body for the journey ahead.
We infuse elements of dance into our practice to make it not just beneficial but also exciting and fun!
Our classes are tailored to the specific needs of expectant bodies, emphasizing holistic health through somatic movements, meditation, and mindfulness.

Meet Jacque, an Afro-Indigenous woman hailing from Brazil! Originally studying Social Sciences, her path took a twist when she discovered a passion for body movement and healing. Her journey led her to Medellin, Colombia, where in 2015, she began sharing the gift of prenatal yoga. Fascinated by natural health methods, Jacque immersed herself in ancestral wisdom, honoring her lineage.
As the founder of Doula Mami Moon, Jacque is deeply committed to serving the DMV community. Her unique blend of traditional knowledge and modern practices brings a holistic approach to wellness.
Yoga, Meditation & Gong

Join Tara Casagrande (ERYT- 500) for 75 minutes of yoga, meditation and a healing gong sound bath.
Arrive in comfortable yoga clothing with your yoga mat and we will provide the props (bolsters, blocks and blankets). If you would prefer, please bring your own props and eye pillow.
Each class will be themed with a short talk about meditation and mindfulness.
We will begin with breath work and gentle yoga (approximately 45 minutes) to prepare the body for meditation.
There will be a 10-15 minute meditation and then 10-15 minutes for final rest on your back (savasana) with the gentle vibrations of the gong to soothe you.
This class is accessible to all levels of yoga students.
Space is limited to 12 people.

Craniosacral Therapy & Restorative Yoga with Tess

Craniosacral therapy is a light touch therapy for the whole body and whole person. It works with both the physical and energetic parts of the body. One of the core principles of craniosacral therapy is that the body will always seek health, and that balancing the nervous system helps clear the path for this process.
During a session, the client will lie down and the practitioner will lightly touch the feet, head, limbs, and spine. The practitioner is often looking to observe the rhythm of the craniosacral fluid (CSF), and notice any blockages that can be supported. Because the approach is systemic, benefits can range from relaxation to reduction in more specific symptoms.
Each participant will receive one 8-10 minute Craniosacral session during the Workshop. For the remainder of the Workshop each participant will be in supported restorative yoga poses.
There is room for 6 participants.

Join Liat in this celebration of our big beautiful bodies! I have been everywhere from a size 8 to a 24!
Sometimes the cues I get in a “traditional” yoga class do not work for my body shape. If you can relate, join me for an exploration and celebration of yogic movement for bigger bodies. We will find poses that comfortably fit your unique shape!

Reiki is an energy modality that helps clear blocked energy so it moves freely in the body. Blocked energy often shows up as aches, pains, and even disease. Reiki helps this energy flow at its optimal level to allow the body and mind to feel relief.
Sound has been used since ancient times to heal the dis-ease of the body and spirit. During Sound Sessions different instruments will be used to shift energy in the body from a state of trauma and disarray, back t0 an original state of optimal alignment.
